You must be a currently enrolled university student with a valid institutional (.edu) email address to use UniMeet. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

When you initiate a match, the app searches for other active users within a 3 mile radius. If a match is found, both users have 5 minutes to chat. Leaving the chat screen ends the session immediately.

All users are fully anonymous during chat. No names, photos, or personal details are shared automatically. Identity may only be revealed if both parties mutually agree to meet.

Match credits are non-refundable once consumed. Purchases are processed via App Store or Google Play. Credits earned via ads have no monetary value.

Harassment, hate speech, impersonation, and any illegal activity are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate and permanent account termination.

We collect your institutional email address (for verification only), approximate location (during active sessions only), and in-app activity such as match frequency. We never store chat messages.

Your precise location is never stored or shared. We only use it in real-time to find nearby users within a 3 mile radius. Location access is active only during an open session.

Your identity is never revealed to other users without explicit mutual consent. Your .edu email is used solely for account verification and is never visible to other users.

Chat messages are permanently deleted at the end of each session. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request full deletion at any time.

We use App Store / Google Play for payments. We do not sell your data to any third party. Ad networks receive only anonymous, non-identifiable signals.
